The first paper is by Sebastian Lederer and Heike Jurzik. Backing up Nextcloud – Consistent Backup and Restore of Complex Application Data shows how to back up and restore complex application data. It uses Nextcloud as an example – a typical web application with a PHP web server and a database, so a setup that can serve as an example for many other applications.
