Virtualization & disaster recovery

VMware Plugin
The VMware Plugin extends Bareos with VMware-aware backup and restore workflows. It is a Python-based File Daemon plugin and is a good fit for environments where virtual machines need image-based protection instead of simple file backup.

Hyper-V Plugin
The Hyper-V Plugin is a File Daemon plugin for protecting Microsoft Hyper-V virtual machines. It is designed for Hyper-V-specific backup workflows and is part of the Bareos plugin landscape for virtualized environments.

Proxmox Plugin
The Proxmox Plugin is a File Daemon plugin for Proxmox environments. In the documentation it is positioned as a dedicated plugin for Proxmox-based workloads, giving Bareos a platform-specific approach for backup and restore in open virtualization environments.
Barri Plugin

PostgreSQL Plugin

Apache Libcloud Plugin
The Apache Libcloud Plugin is a File Daemon plugin for backing up objects from cloud storage through the S3 protocol. The documentation describes it as experimental and notes that restored objects are written back as files on a filesystem rather than directly to object storage.

Qumulo Python by Yuzuy
