SUSE Linux Enterprise

Bareos is certified according to the YES Certified Program for SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) and SUSE Enterprise Storage (SES). The software is listed in the official SUSE Partner Software Catalog. For both distributions, extensive automated testing is performed. This includes regression testing for all features and, of course, complete integration testing for the respective environment:

SUSE Linux Enterprise: Our developers boot a virtual machine, install the Bareos packages there, perform backups and restore operations.
SUSE Enterprise Storage: Our developers create backups via the S3 interface.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux

Bareos is certified for use with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.x, 9.x and 10.x and is listed in the official Red Hat Ecosystem Catalog.

Bareos packages are built and tested for each supported Enterprise Linux version. As part of our automated CI/QA process, the packages are installed and tested in distribution-specific environments to ensure that Bareos works correctly on the respective RHEL platform.

Univention Corporate Server

Bareos is available in the Univention App Center catalog and integrates with UCS versions 4.4, 4.3, 4.2, and 4.1. Univention Corporate Server (UCS) is a Debian-based identity and infrastructure management system.

The Univention App Center makes it easy to install UCS extensions and enterprise applications in existing environments. Bareos is also available in the software catalog and can thus be conveniently managed via the UCS web interface.

Oracle Linux

Bareos is certified for use with Oracle Linux and packages are tested constantly in our CI/QA. For testing for yourself please use the packages for EL platform and contact us for support in production environments.
