What to expect in this session
Guest talk: Benjamin Somers
Benjamin Somers is a Research Engineer at IMT Atlantique, a leading French technological university, and one of the maintainers of Incus, a virtual machine and container manager.
Have you heard of Incus?
Incus is a modern open-source manager for system containers, application containers and virtual machines. It offers a cloud-like experience, can run on a single machine or scale to a cluster and provides API and CLI tooling for automation.
In this session, Benjamin will briefly introduce Incus, explain how the idea for the Bareos integration was born and show how it evolved into a new feature in the upcoming major Bareos release.
Bareos 26 updates and Q&A
In the second part of the session, Philipp Storz, founder of Bareos, will share the latest news around Bareos 26. As usual, there will also be time for questions and discussion.
