Improved TapeAlert Plugin
Bareos 24.0.6 includes an enhanced TapeAlert plugin. It now retrieves TapeAlerts from tape drives and writes them directly into the job log. See the plugin documentation for configuration details.
Bug Fixes
- Linux packages now require setcap and getcap to be present
- The gRPC plugin now correctly passes early events to the wrapped plugin
- Fixed path creation issues that could result in double slashes (//)
- Storage Daemon no longer exposes key material in logs when tape encryption setup fails
- Fixed a race condition in the Storage Daemon
