We have published a new video showing the Hyper-V plugin in Bareos 25.
In the video, we demonstrate how Bareos backs up and restores a Hyper-V virtual machine. You can see a full backup, an incremental backup and a complete restore after the virtual machine was deleted. The restore recreates both the VM and its disks in Hyper-V.
The Hyper-V plugin works without an agent inside the VM and connects directly to the Hyper-V host. During the backup, Hyper-V checkpoints are created automatically and removed again when the job finishes.
