Bareos is now listed on openCode

Bareos is now listed in the openCode Software Index, the central platform for open-source software in German public administration.

openCode is operated by the Center for Digital Sovereignty of the Public Administration (ZenDiS). The platform helps public-sector organizations find, share and reuse open-source software and supports the broader goal of strengthening digital sovereignty in public administration.

The Bareos listing makes our open-source backup software more visible to public-sector organizations looking for alternatives to proprietary backup solutions. It also gives administrations another way to discover Bareos and consider it for their own backup environments.

Bareos is fully open source under the AGPLv3 and can be operated within an organization’s own infrastructure.
